Are AI robots going to take our jobs? Maybe it’s too early to tell, however, it’s hard to ignore all of the AI programs and software emerging which could change the way that we work. Some will consider this a fantastic leap forward in technology, some will be apprehensive. We’ll leave it up to you to decide how to feel.

We thought it would be a good idea to test the waters and see what they’re capable of so we asked ChatGPT, an incredibly sophisticated free open AI chatbot, to write about whatever it wanted. I waited. Albeit not for long, it churned this out in about 3 seconds.

Here’s what the AI had to say.

The content that this AI produces is indistinguishable from humans. You can give it incredibly complex demands and it will have a result for you in a matter of seconds. The commands can be as leftfield as you want and it will have something of substance in most cases for you. I asked it to write a rap in the style of Eminem about him quitting rap and setting up an ecommerce store, and wouldn’t you know it came back with exactly that. It can speak multiple languages (including code).

It does have it’s limitations. For instance, it may generate incorrect information, so you can’t always trust what it says. It may occasionally produce harmful instructions or biased content and it has limited knowledge of the world and events after 2021.

There isn’t a great deal more I can say about this AI, other than what it has already said about itself. This looks to be a great tool with a lot of real-world use cases and the ability to improve workflow as well as speed up and lay the foundations for idea generation. It feels like this is only the beginning, it’s interesting, scary, and slightly bewildering to see where this could go in the future.
